Doctor consultations have gone virtual with AlphaDoc. You can now receive a Nurse-led virtual doctor consultation at an AlphaDoc enabled pharmacy.
AlphaScript offers you the patient a free chronic service and an accessible nationwide network of accredited local healthcare providers that are linked to the centralised Alpha Script dispensing software to allow you the convenience to collect your medication at any AlphaScript accredited provider; or
If there is no accredited AlphaScript provider near you, you can contact Alpha Script directly and we will deliver the medication to any destination whenever you are travelling in South Africa…right to your doorstep.(Depending on pharmacy’s delivery option)
AlphaScript Pharmacy Management System
The AlphaScript PMS forms the backbone of the ASPN and acts as the conduit for the following functionalities embedded in the AlphaXpress Web-Browser used by accredited ASNPs at the point of engagement with their patients:
AlphaScript Pharmacy acts as a Central Chronic Medicine Dispensing Provider to the AlphaScript Provider Network (ASPN)
AlphaScript Pharmacy specialises in:
Chronic Medicine Risk Management:
- reducing the financial risk of medical schemes
- Adhering to a centrally agreed dispensing fee structure, and conforming to the medical schemes medicine formulary.
Patient Adherence Management:
- Timeous renewal of chronic scripts through automated SMS communication on repeats “5 of 6” and “6 of 6” as well as human intervention upon expiry of a chronic script.
- Prevention of over-servicing and wastage by liasing with a patient prior to the 28 day chronic replenishment cycle to confirm their medicine requirements.
- Ensuring timeous chronic medication collection from the patient’s ASNP through an automated SMS on dispensing, dispatching and also delivery of the patient’s chronic medicine to his/her ASNP
- Human intervention within 5 days of the 28 day chronic replenishment cycle to manage non-collection by the patient.
Disease Risk Management (DRM)
- Refferring the patient to the Alpha Clin Clinics (ACC) incorporated clinic where the wellness screening is performed by a qualified sister.
- Recording the vitals of the respective wellness screening(s) on the AlphaNurse Clinic Management Software (CMS) and switching the results real-time to the medical scheme together with the claim.
